Project Overview

WGS developed an e-Learning application specifically for smart TV from Samsung. The application is intended to facilitate the students in one of the technology-based educational institution’s campus area. By utilizing the combination of HTML5, Javascript, and Samsung Smart TV SDK, we built an easy-to-use and comprehensive edu-info application with the help of web services technology such as PHP and MySQL.

The application will allow the user (students) to select among the courses, in which the application will play video materials associated with the selected course, and furtherly enable the students to interact with each other via embedded comments function.

Develop an application for students to assign their courses and see the materials such as video lectures.

WGS combine the destined platform and web technologies to create the ease of use and enhanced experience.

Lesson Learned

Efficiency of time by eliminating course administration queues and specially allotted time will improve students’ independency and augment clerical workers’ workload efficiency.
