Project Overview

The Asia Foundation is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives across a dynamic and developing Asia. Informed by six decades of experience and deep local expertise, their programs address critical issues affecting Asia in the 21st century. It includes governance and law, economic development, women's empowerment, environment, and regional cooperation. Asia Foundation collaborates with Polling Center to display the result of a survey.WGS helped The Asia Foundation develop a website to show the result of election survey or anything else that's related. WGS developed an application on top of PHP with Laravel v 4.2 frameworks, GeoJSON for map and Implement background job to accelerate the uploading data for admin. The application runs on top of a CentOS, Apache web server, and MySQL database. On the front-end, the application use HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, and Bootstrap 3. Application is open source.

It is best practice to use GeoJSON to display result of survey categorized based on region and Implement background job to speed upthe uploading data.
